• The entry process

  At what point will my credit card be charged during the site submission process? At the end of the entry process, if paying by credit card. This will automatically charge your credit card. As we are verifying your credit card information, this process may take a minute. Please wait. Clicking the button again may result in double billing. If you click the "process my entry" button multiple times and are double billed as a result, email a copy of your confirmation receipt to info@lovieawards.eu

  Can I withdraw my entry? Will I get a refund? You may withdraw your entry by emailing info@lovieawards.eu. Refunds are given at the managers discretion.

  How can I be sure you have received my entry? You see a confirmation page noting your entry number and will also receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your entry. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours, please email info@lovieawards.eu.

  How can I change my entry? The following information can be changed on an entry at any time by contacting The Lovie Awards Call for Entries Customer Service via info@lovieawards.eu:

  • Contact info
  • URL - The URL can be changed only if it is the same site that was nominated or if it has not yet been reviewed.
  • Category to be reviewed - An entrant will be granted a category change as long as the site has not yet been reviewed.

  Do you have to be based in Europe to participate? Yes, The Lovie Awards is only open to entry submissions of work produced in Europe.

  Does the entry need to be in English? Entries will be accepted in English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German. While other European language websites are not explicitly forbidden, sites must be accessible to our predominantly English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German speaking judges. In categories that may not depend on language, other European language sites are eligible if they are highly visual or otherwise not dependent on language.
  
  All Online Film & Video entries in a language other than English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German MUST be dubbed or subtitled.

• Categories

  Can I enter more than one category? Yes, each year many entrants enter multiple categories as multiple categories allow for our judges to evaluate your entry based on the parameters of each appropriate category, thus increasing chances of winning.

• Judging

  How do you pick the judges for your competitions? The Lovie Awards are overseen by the International Academy of the Digital Arts and Sciences. Visit The Academy Website to learn more.

  Can you explain how the sites are judged? Please see judging process and judging criteria.

  Is it possible to receive the judges rating and comments for my site? Due to the volume of entries, The Lovie Awards does not offer individual comments to its entrants.

  How do you judge the mobile entries? The Academy will judge all Lovie Mobile entries on hand-held devices thus ensuring that the entry is evaluated according to the criteria in its intended medium.

• Winning an award

  What do I get if I win a Lovie award? To help promote achievement, The Lovie Awards provides its winners the notable Lovie Statuette (additional statuettes can be purchased) and an icon for the winners’ websites or publications. All winners will be included on the winners page of the Lovie site.

  Can I buy additional Lovie Awards statuettes for members of my team, clients and others if I win? Yes. To help promote achievement, The Lovie Awards provides its winners the notable Lovie Statuette and an icon for the winners’ websites or publications. Additional statuettes can be purchased.

• Newsletter & staying informed

  What is The Lovie Letter? The Lovie Letter is the newsletter of The Lovie Awards. It is sent monthly via email and contains information on The Lovie Awards. Unsubscribe by following the instructions in the footer of each newsletter, or by sending a request to info@lovieawards.eu.

• Miscellaneous

  How can I sponsor the Lovie awards? If you are interested in being considered as a sponsor of The Lovie Awards, please contact Susan Solcum, Chief Revenue Officer.

  Can I rent the list of Lovie entrants or winners? No. We do not rent or sell our entrant or winner lists.
